How it works

Three steps from idea to gift

  1. Choose a design and value

    In the basket you add a dedication and the print format: A4, DL or A5. Pay by card or bank transfer.

  2. The voucher arrives by e-mail

    Print it at home or simply forward it. Every voucher has its own unique code.

  3. The recipient picks their dates

    They book on orea.cz with prices in CZK and enter the code in the Voucher/Gift Voucher field. The value is deducted from the price of the stay right in the booking.

FAQ

Before you buy

What can I use the voucher for?

For accommodation and for services at the hotel – the restaurant, bar, wellness and more – at all OREA hotels. It’s also valid at SenSa Fine Food Bistro in Prague.

Can I pay for a stay with the voucher in the online booking?

Yes. Book on orea.cz with prices in Czech koruna (CZK) – the voucher field only appears for bookings in CZK. In the last step, enter the code in the Voucher/Gift Voucher field and click Redeem a voucher. The value is deducted from the price of the stay. You can also use the voucher when booking through the OREA reservations team.

Can I pay at the hotel with it, for wellness or dinner, say?

Yes, you can pay for hotel services with the voucher too. Book the service in advance, mention that you’ll pay with a voucher and show its code on the spot.

Do I have to use it all at once?

No. You can use the voucher in parts, and any remaining value stays on it until it expires. You can check the balance at any time by entering the code on orea.cz.

Can I use several vouchers at once?

Yes, you can redeem several vouchers in a single booking.

What if the stay costs more than the voucher?

You pay the difference by card or any other method the hotel accepts.

Can the voucher be used for the city tax?

No, the city tax is paid separately.

Can anyone use the voucher?

Yes, the voucher isn’t issued in a name. Anyone who knows its code can redeem it, so share it only with the recipient.

What if I cancel a booking I paid for with the voucher?

Cancellation follows the cancellation terms of the specific stay, which you’ll see when booking.

How long is the voucher valid?

12 months from the date of purchase, unless a later date is shown on the voucher. The expiry date is printed on the voucher and you can check it at any time with the code on orea.cz.

When will I receive it? Can I get it at the last minute?

We send the voucher by e-mail once payment is received – under our terms, within two working days at the latest. If you pay by bank transfer, allow time for the payment to clear. The voucher is electronic; we don’t send it by post.

Can I return my purchase?

Yes, you can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, provided the voucher hasn’t been used. We refund you the same way you paid.

What if I lose the voucher?

A lost voucher can’t be replaced, so keep the e-mail with the voucher – the code in it remains valid.
