When are the Brno Christmas markets in 2026?
Brno Christmas (Brněnské Vánoce) on Freedom Square, Dominican Square and in the Old Town Hall courtyard runs from 27 November to 23 December 2026. Christmas Brno (Vánoce Brno) on the Cabbage Market, Moravian Square and by the statue of Jobst runs from 13 November to 31 December 2026. Both dates are confirmed by the organisers; opening hours and the programme will be published in the autumn.
How do I get from the hotel to the markets?
From the Congress Hotel and the Voro, the tram from the Výstaviště stop takes about 17 minutes to the Cabbage Market and around 20 minutes to Freedom Square. The Santon is by the Brno Reservoir: the tram from the Přístaviště stop takes about 28 minutes to Freedom Square.
Is breakfast included?
Yes. All prices on this page include breakfast and city tax. At the Santon you can add half board with a buffet dinner when booking.
Can I cancel free of charge?
The “from” prices are for the prepaid rate, which is the best value but non-refundable. When booking, you can choose the flexible rate and pay at the hotel instead: it can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival and costs roughly 10% more.
What about children?
Children under 6 stay free. The Congress has a playroom and, on selected dates, a programme with Eliška the Fox; the Voro has a Montessori corner (daily 8:00–20:00).
What about wellness?
OREA Resort Santon has a 12 × 4 m pool, a hot tub and a sauna world with four saunas, with sauna ceremonies on Fridays. On Fridays and Saturdays the wellness area is reserved for hotel guests. The Congress and the Voro have no wellness of their own, but guests can use the gym at the Congress free of charge.
