When are the Prague Christmas markets in 2026?
On Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square from Saturday 28 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, daily 10:00–22:00. Náměstí Míru (Peace Square) from 20 November, Republic Square from 25 November and Tyl Square from 26 November, all three until 24 December 2026. Dates confirmed by the organisers.
Which hotel is closest to the markets?
OREA Place Seno on Senovážná street: an 8-minute walk to Wenceslas Square and 9 minutes to Old Town Square. From the Angelo and Andel's hotels at Anděl, metro line B takes you to Můstek in 4 minutes. From the Pyramida, the tram from Malovanka to Staroměstská takes about 14 minutes – and Prague Castle is within walking distance.

Can I cancel free of charge?

When are the markets least crowded?
On weekday afternoons and late in the evening. The busiest times are the Saturday of the tree lighting and Advent weekend evenings – at the 2024 lighting, police closed the entrances to Old Town Square for two hours.
